CJC-1295

CJC‑1295 is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) designed to stimulate the pituitary gland to release growth hormone (GH) and raise IGF‑1 levels for an extended duration thanks to its long half‑life. Unlike shorter‑acting GHRHs, CJC‑1295’s extended activity supports research into muscle growth, fat metabolism, recovery, and anti‑aging protocols. ⚗️ Product Features 🧪 Synthetic long‑acting GHRH analog 📈 Sustains GH and IGF‑1 release over several days ⚙️ Supports research into muscle growth, metabolic regulation, and recovery 🔄 Mimics physiologic GH pulsatility with extended exposure ✅ ≥98 % purity verified by HPLC 📄 Batch‑specific Certificates of Analysis (COAs) included 💧 Sterile, lyophilized peptide for research applications ⭐ Key Benefits 💪 Supports muscle growth and lean mass research through sustained GH signaling 🔥 Enhances fat metabolism and body composition studies ⚡ Promotes recovery, repair, and tissue adaptation pathways 🔬 Human‑Relevant Research Applications 📈 Sustained GH & IGF‑1 Elevation in Healthy Adults Clinical research in adults shows that CJC‑1295 significantly increases GH and IGF‑1 levels for multiple days after a single injection, with effects lasting well beyond native GHRH due to its extended half‑life:🔗 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16352683/ — CJC‑1295 administration raised mean plasma GH levels by 2–10× for ~6+ days and IGF‑1 levels by ~1.5–3× for 9–11 days in healthy adults. 🧬 Enhanced GH Pulsatility with Preserved Natural Rhythm Research also demonstrates that CJC‑1295 increases baseline and overall GH secretion while maintaining pulsatile dynamics, which is important for physiological GH action and downstream effects:🔗 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17018654/ — CJC‑1295 increased trough and mean GH secretion with preserved pulsatility in healthy men. 🧾 Mechanism Summary 📈 Activates GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary to trigger GH release 🔄 Sustains GH and IGF‑1 production over extended periods due to its long‑acting profile ⚙️ Supports research into anabolic, metabolic, and recovery‑related pathways 🧠 Mimics native pulsatile GH dynamics while extending exposure for deeper signaling responses 🔄 Reconstitution & Handling Guidance 1️⃣ Reconstitute with sterile bacteriostatic water2️⃣ Add appropriate volume per research protocol3️⃣ Gently swirl — do not shake4️⃣ Store reconstituted peptide at 4–10 °C5️⃣ Keep unopened vials refrigerated until use

What is CJC-1295?

CJC-1295 is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It is based on the first 29 amino acids of human GHRH, with four amino acid substitutions that make it more resistant to breakdown in the blood. A lysine carrying a maleimide linker, the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), is added at the end.

Once injected, the DAC is designed to bind to circulating albumin. This greatly extends the time the peptide stays in the body. Like natural GHRH, it acts on receptors in the pituitary gland, which is thought to prompt the pituitary to release its own growth hormone.

Also known as: CJC-1295 DAC, DAC:GRF, Drug Affinity Complex GRF(1-29)

What the research covers

CJC-1295 with DAC has been studied in small human trials. In healthy adults, single injections were followed by raised growth hormone and IGF-1 levels for several days, with an estimated half-life of around six to eight days. A follow-up study found that the natural pulsing pattern of growth hormone release appeared to be preserved. Earlier work in rats described how the albumin-binding design extends its activity. The human evidence is limited to short, early-phase studies, and longer-term safety and outcome data are lacking. Clinical development was not completed. CJC-1295 is not approved as a medicine by the US FDA.

Frequently asked questions

What does the research on CJC-1295 show?

Small human studies have measured rises in growth hormone and IGF-1 lasting several days after a single injection. Research is early-phase and short-term, so long-term effects are not well understood.

How is CJC-1295 with DAC different from CJC-1295 without DAC?

Both share the same modified GHRH sequence. The DAC version has an added linker that binds to albumin, giving it a much longer half-life. The version without DAC, also called Mod GRF 1-29, is cleared within hours.

Are there side effects with CJC-1295 (with DAC)?

Side effects can occur. Your GP will review your health, medication and, where relevant, blood results before prescribing, and you should report anything unexpected.

Which formats are available and how should I store them?

CJC-1295 (with DAC) is available as a vial (injectable). Keep unopened lyophilised vials cool and dry, away from light. After reconstitution, refrigerate at 2-8C, protect from light and do not freeze. Follow the storage instructions on your pharmacy label.

How much CJC-1295 (with DAC) should I take?

Your dose is set by our licensed GP following a consultation, and printed on your pharmacy label.
