Pinealon 10mg

Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and arginine. It’s also known as EDR peptide. Research suggests that Pinealon’s mechanism of action involves activating the gene expression and the synthesis of proteins associated with neuronal activity, as well as decreasing the intensity of neuronal cell death. Key Features: MAPK/ERK signaling pathway: The MAPK/EKR signaling pathway is important for cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and the elimination of damaged cells, among other things. Proapoptotic proteins: Proapoptotic proteins help trigger apoptosis, or programmed cell death, which is critical for removing damaged or unwanted cells (cancer cells). Examples of proapoptotic proteins activated by Pinealon are caspase-3 and p53 Antioxidant proteins: Antioxidant proteins play a critical defensive role against free radicals and reactive oxygen species, the proliferation of which can lead to dysregulated apoptosis, which in turn is associated with pathologies such as autoimmune diseases, cancer, and neurodegeneration Research Reference:A peptidomimetic targeting adipose vasculature has been shown in preclinical studies to induce selective apoptosis of blood vessels supplying white adipose tissue, leading to adipose tissue atrophy and metabolic effects in research models. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22072637/

What is Pinealon 10mg?

Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide made of three amino acids: glutamic acid, aspartic acid and arginine. It is one of the short peptide bioregulators developed in Russia by Vladimir Khavinson's group.

Because of its very small size, Pinealon is thought to be able to enter cells and their nucleus. Laboratory research suggests it may interact with DNA and influence the expression of certain genes in nerve cells. It has been studied mainly for possible effects on brain cells under stress, such as low oxygen or oxidative damage.

Also known as: EDR peptide, Glu-Asp-Arg

What are peptides?

What the research covers

Research on Pinealon is at an early stage. Most studies are cell culture and animal experiments, published largely in Russian journals by a small number of research groups. These have looked at nerve cell survival, oxidative stress and serotonin expression in brain cells. A few small human studies have been reported, but they are not large or independently replicated controlled trials. The overall evidence level is low, and its effects in people are not established. Pinealon is not approved as a medicine by the US FDA.

Frequently asked questions

How is Pinealon different from Epitalon?

Both are short synthetic peptides from the same research tradition. Pinealon has three amino acids (EDR) and has been studied mainly for nerve cell effects. Epitalon has four (AEDG) and has been studied for telomerase and pineal function.

What does the research on Pinealon show?

Research is mostly cell and animal studies looking at nerve cell survival and oxidative stress. Human evidence is very limited, so its effects in people are not established.

How should I store Pinealon?

Pinealon is supplied as a vial. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated at 2-8°C, protected from light, and do not freeze. Follow the storage instructions on your pharmacy label.

Are there side effects?

Side effects can occur. Your GP will review your health, medication and, where relevant, blood results before prescribing, and you should report anything unexpected.
