BPC-157 Pen

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a naturally occurring protein found in gastric juice. It has been widely studied in research settings for its role in tissue repair, recovery, and cellular regeneration. Research Areas BPC-157 is studied for its role in: Tendon, ligament, and soft tissue repair - investigated for its effects on fibroblast migration, collagen deposition, and connective tissue remodelling Gastrointestinal biology - studied for its protective role in gut lining integrity and intestinal repair Systemic regeneration - researched for its involvement in angiogenesis, VEGF pathway activation, and nitric oxide signalling Musculoskeletal recovery - studied across muscle, joint, and connective tissue models for its regenerative properties Formulation Available as a pre-mixed research formulation. Produced in Dubai. UAE delivery. What is BPC-157 Pen?

BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide of 15 amino acids. Its sequence is derived from a larger protein found in human gastric juice, which gave rise to the name Body Protection Compound.

It was first described by researchers in Zagreb in the early 1990s. In laboratory and animal studies it appears to interact with growth factor signalling, blood vessel formation and nitric oxide pathways. Researchers think these effects may explain its interest in tissue repair. How it acts in humans is not well established.

Also known as: Body Protection Compound 157, BPC 157, Pentadecapeptide BPC 157, PL 14736

What are peptides?

What the research covers

BPC-157 has been studied mainly in cell and animal models. Rodent studies have looked at tendon, ligament, muscle and bone repair, as well as the gut lining and wound healing. Early research suggests it may support tissue repair processes in these models. Reviews note that most of the evidence comes from a small number of research groups. Human data are very limited. Published human reports are small, uncontrolled or case-based, and there are no large randomised trials. More research is needed to understand safety and effects in people. BPC-157 is not approved as a medicine by the US FDA.

Frequently asked questions

Which formats are available and how should I store BPC-157?

BPC-157 is available as a pre-filled pen, a cartridge for a reusable pen or a vial of freeze-dried powder. Your GP will advise which format suits you. Store pens and cartridges in the fridge at 2-8C and do not freeze. Keep lyophilised vials cool, dry and away from light; once reconstituted, refrigerate at 2-8C, protect from light and do not freeze. Follow the storage instructions on your pharmacy label.

How is BPC-157 different from TB-500?

They are unrelated peptides. BPC-157 is a 15 amino acid sequence derived from a gastric protein. TB-500 relates to thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in actin regulation. Both have been studied for tissue repair, mostly in animals, and are sometimes prescribed together as a blend.

What does the research show?

Most research is in cells and animals, where BPC-157 has been studied for tendon, muscle, gut and wound repair. Human evidence is limited to small reports. It should not be viewed as a proven treatment.

Are there side effects?

Side effects can occur. Your GP will review your health, medication and, where relevant, blood results before prescribing, and you should report anything unexpected.
