The Ipamorelin 10mg Pen is a precision-dosed tetrapeptide studied for its role in selective growth hormone signaling. Widely researched for recovery, tissue repair, metabolic regulation, and cellular optimization, it stimulates GH release without affecting cortisol or prolactin, making it ideal for human-relevant studies. Key Features 🧪 cGMP manufactured in an FDA-registered facility ✅ ≥98% purity confirmed by HPLC analysis 📄 Batch-specific Certificates of Analysis (COAs) included 💉 Sterile, lyophilized pens for research use only Human-Relevant Research Applications 💪 Growth hormone signaling & recovery — supports anabolic and tissue repair pathways (PubMed) 🔗 Clinical summary: Ipamorelin’s stimulation of the GH/IGF-1 axis has been associated in research summaries with modest increases in lean body mass and reductions in fat mass through lipolysis and anabolic protein metabolism, especially in adults with low baseline GH/IGF-1.https://deltapeptides.com/ipamorelin.html Mechanism Summary Ipamorelin selectively activates GH-releasing receptors in the anterior pituitary Does not affect cortisol or prolactin, reducing potential stress-related side effects Supports sustained GH pulses, enabling studies on recovery, metabolism, and cellular repair Frequently Research Questions How does Ipamorelin differ from other GH secretagogues? It selectively increases GH without elevating cortisol or prolactin, offering a cleaner human-relevant model (PubMed). What is the best dosing model for human-relevant research?Protocols often use 0.1–0.3 mg/kg subcutaneous injection, simulating physiological GH pulses (PubMed). Scientific References 📌 Ipamorelin’s selectivity for GH (minimal off-target effects)✔️ Wikipedia entry summarizes that ipamorelin significantly increases GH levels in humans and animals while sparing cortisol and prolactin, demonstrating high selectivity compared with older GHRPs. 🔗 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipamorelin This material is supplied exclusively for laboratory research use. What is Ipamorelin Pen?
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, a chain of five amino acids, developed in the 1990s. It belongs to the growth hormone secretagogue family, which also includes GHRP-2 and GHRP-6. It contains non-standard building blocks, such as aminoisobutyric acid and naphthylalanine.
Ipamorelin acts on the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) in the pituitary and hypothalamus. This is thought to trigger a pulse of growth hormone release. In early animal studies it was described as selective, meaning it had little effect on cortisol or prolactin at doses that released growth hormone.
Also known as: NNC 26-0161
What the research covers
Ipamorelin was first described in 1998 in laboratory and animal studies, which reported growth hormone release with little effect on ACTH or cortisol. It was later studied in human clinical trials, including for gut motility after abdominal surgery, where it was tolerated but did not show a clear benefit. Overall, the human evidence is small and short-term. Its long-term effects on growth hormone, IGF-1 and wider health have not been established in large trials. Ipamorelin is not approved as a medicine by the US FDA.

Frequently asked questions
What does the research on ipamorelin show?
Early animal studies found it released growth hormone with little effect on cortisol. Human studies are few and short, so long-term effects are not well understood.
How is ipamorelin different from GHRP-6 or GHRP-2?
All three act on the ghrelin receptor. Early research suggests ipamorelin is more selective, with less effect on cortisol and prolactin. GHRP-6 is also known for a stronger effect on appetite.
Are there side effects with Ipamorelin?
Side effects can occur. Your GP will review your health, medication and, where relevant, blood results before prescribing, and you should report anything unexpected.
Which formats are available and how should I store them?
Ipamorelin is available as: pen, vial (injectable). Your GP will help you choose the most suitable format. Keep unopened lyophilised vials cool and dry, away from light. After reconstitution, refrigerate at 2-8C, protect from light and do not freeze. Keep pens and cartridges refrigerated at 2-8C and do not freeze. Follow the storage instructions on your pharmacy label.
How much Ipamorelin should I take?
Your dose is set by our licensed GP following a consultation, and printed on your pharmacy label.
