KISSPEPTIN 5 SPRAY

Kisspeptin‑5 is a short‑chain reproductive peptide that plays a central role in regulating the hypothalamic‑pituitary‑gonadal (HPG) axis by stimulating the hypothalamus to increase GnRH (gonadotropin‑releasing hormone) secretion. This upstream signaling triggers the release of LH (luteinizing hormone)and FSH (follicle‑stimulating hormone) from the pituitary, supporting natural fertility, hormonal balance, and reproductive health. Because of its foundational role in reproductive endocrinology, Kisspeptin‑5 is studied in fertility programs, hormone restoration research, and reproductive health investigations. Key Features 🧬 Upstream regulator of reproductive hormone signaling⚖️ Targets GnRH, LH, & FSH release physiology📊 Designed for research into fertility & endocrine balance🧪 Supports hypothalamic‑pituitary axis pathways📄 For research and investigational use only Key Benefits 🔁 Stimulates Natural Hormone Release – Promotes GnRH, LH, and FSH secretion via hypothalamic activation.🌱 Supports Fertility – May enhance ovarian and testicular function through upstream hormone signaling.⚖️ Restores Hormonal Balance – Helps regulate reproductive axis activity in both sexes.🧠 Neuroendocrine Health – Supports signaling between the brain and reproductive organs.🔬 Potential in Assisted Reproduction – Being explored as an adjunct in reproductive protocols and fertility interventions. Human‑Relevant Research Application 🔬 Intranasal kisspeptin increases reproductive hormones in humansIn a clinical study, intranasal administration of kisspeptin‑54 significantly stimulated LH and FSH secretion in healthy women compared with placebo, demonstrating that kisspeptin can activate reproductive hormone pathways in humans via a non‑invasive route — directly supporting its role in upstream endocrine regulation. 🔗 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40215751/ Who Can Benefit Researchers studying reproductive endocrinology and HPG axis regulation Investigators focused on fertility optimization and hormone signaling Studies involving neuroendocrine mechanisms in reproductive health and balance

What is KISSPEPTIN 5 SPRAY?

Kisspeptins are natural peptides made from the KISS1 gene. Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest active form, made of the last ten amino acids of the longer kisspeptin-54. It was first studied as a metastasis suppressor, which is why it is also called metastin.

Kisspeptin acts on the KISS1 receptor (also called GPR54) on GnRH-producing nerve cells in the hypothalamus. This is thought to be a key upstream signal for GnRH release, which in turn prompts the pituitary to release LH and FSH. It sits one step above gonadorelin in the reproductive hormone pathway.

Also known as: Kisspeptin, KP-10, Metastin 45-54

What are peptides?

What the research covers

Kisspeptin has been studied in small human trials. In healthy men, kisspeptin-10 given by injection or infusion increased LH levels and LH pulse frequency. Other studies have looked at kisspeptin in women, in people with low reproductive hormone signalling, and as a trigger for egg maturation in IVF using kisspeptin-54. The research is mostly short-term and in small groups. Most human studies used injection or infusion rather than nasal delivery. Kisspeptin is not approved as a medicine in most countries.

Frequently asked questions

What does the research on kisspeptin show?

Small human studies show kisspeptin-10 can raise LH and its pulse frequency in men. Research is early-stage and mostly short-term.

How is kisspeptin different from gonadorelin?

Kisspeptin acts higher up the pathway, on the nerve cells that release GnRH. Gonadorelin is GnRH itself and acts directly on the pituitary.

Are there side effects with Kisspeptin-10?

Side effects can occur. Your GP will review your health, medication and, where relevant, blood results before prescribing, and you should report anything unexpected.

Which formats are available and how should I store them?

Kisspeptin-10 is available as: pen, vial (injectable), nasal spray. Your GP will help you choose the most suitable format. Keep unopened lyophilised vials cool and dry, away from light. After reconstitution, refrigerate at 2-8C, protect from light and do not freeze. Keep pens and cartridges refrigerated at 2-8C and do not freeze. Refrigerate the nasal spray after opening unless your pharmacy label says otherwise. Follow the storage instructions on your pharmacy label.

How much Kisspeptin-10 should I take?

Your dose is set by our licensed GP following a consultation, and printed on your pharmacy label.
