LARAZOTIDE 250
350.00 AED — In stock

Larazotide 250 is a cutting-edge peptide designed to support intestinal barrier integrity by regulating tight junctions in the gut lining. By helping prevent excessive intestinal permeability (commonly known as “leaky gut”), Larazotide supports gut–immune balance, digestive comfort, and overall wellness. It has been extensively studied for its role in intestinal inflammation, food sensitivities, and immune-mediated gut disorders, making it a valuable addition to advanced gut health protocols. Key Features 🧬 Tight-junction regulating peptide for gut barrier support🛡️ Helps reduce intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”)🔥 Supports a healthier inflammatory response in the gut🧠 Promotes gut–brain–immune axis balance📄 Advanced formulation for digestive and immune wellness Key Benefits 🛡️ Supports Gut Integrity – Helps regulate tight junction function to reduce permeability🧪 Enhances Immune Balance – May reduce inappropriate immune activation from food antigens and toxins🔥 Reduces Gut Inflammation – Supports a calmer, healthier intestinal environment⚡ Improves Nutrient Absorption – Optimizes digestion, energy levels, and overall vitality🌾 Adjunct for Autoimmune & Gluten Sensitivity Protocols – Studied extensively in celiac-related conditions Who Can Benefit • Individuals with gut health concerns such as bloating, food sensitivities, or inflammation• Adults seeking leaky gut repair and intestinal barrier support• Individuals with digestive immune imbalances (under professional guidance)• Wellness enthusiasts supporting gut–brain–immune health Human-Relevant Research Application 🔬 Larazotide supports intestinal barrier function and immune regulationLarazotide acetate has been studied in multiple human clinical trials for its ability to regulate intestinal tight junctions and reduce gluten-induced intestinal permeability in individuals with celiac disease. Research demonstrates improvements in gastrointestinal symptoms and reduced inflammatory signaling, supporting its role in gut barrier protection and immune modulation. 🔗 PubMed reference: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31116552/
What is LARAZOTIDE 250?
Larazotide acetate is a synthetic peptide of eight amino acids. It was designed based on a protein made by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae, called zonula occludens toxin. It is an investigational medicine and is not approved anywhere.
Larazotide is thought to act on tight junctions, the seals between cells lining the gut. It is designed to limit the loosening of these junctions, which may reduce the passage of gluten fragments through the gut wall. In clinical trials it was taken by mouth as a capsule.
Also known as: Larazotide acetate, AT-1001, INN-202
What the research covers
Larazotide is one of the most studied peptides in this range. It has been tested in several randomised, placebo-controlled human trials in adults with coeliac disease. A phase 2b trial reported fewer symptoms at one dose in people with ongoing symptoms despite a gluten-free diet. Results across trials have been mixed, and a phase 3 trial was stopped in 2022 after an interim analysis. These trials used oral capsules, not injection. Larazotide remains investigational and is not approved as a medicine by the US FDA.

Frequently asked questions
Which formats are available and how should I store Larazotide?
Larazotide is available as a vial of freeze-dried powder. Your GP will advise which format suits you. Keep lyophilised vials cool, dry and away from light; once reconstituted, refrigerate at 2-8C, protect from light and do not freeze. Follow the storage instructions on your pharmacy label.
Is larazotide an approved treatment for coeliac disease?
No. Larazotide is investigational and has not been approved by any major regulator. A gluten-free diet remains the standard approach for coeliac disease, and larazotide is not a substitute for it.
What does the research show?
Larazotide has been studied in randomised human trials in coeliac disease, mostly as an oral capsule. Results were mixed, and a phase 3 trial was stopped early. Evidence for injected use is lacking.
Are there side effects?
Side effects can occur. Your GP will review your health, medication and, where relevant, blood results before prescribing, and you should report anything unexpected.
