NAD+ 500mg Pen
1000.00 AED — In stock

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is one of the most important coenzymes in human biology, present in every living cell and fundamental to how the body produces energy, repairs DNA, and regulates metabolic function. As we age, NAD+ levels decline - a process associated with reduced cellular energy, slower recovery, and decreased metabolic efficiency. The NAD+ Pen delivers 500mg of pharmaceutical-quality NAD+ in a convenient, precise-dose format. What NAD+ is studied for: Cellular energy production - NAD+ is central to mitochondrial function and ATP synthesis, the process that powers every cell in the body DNA repair and longevity - NAD+ activates sirtuin pathways, a class of proteins linked to metabolic regulation, stress resilience, and healthy ageing Cognitive and neurological health - Research demonstrates NAD+ supports neuronal energy metabolism and neuroprotection, particularly relevant to cognitive performance and mental clarity Metabolic health - NAD+-dependent pathways are associated with insulin sensitivity and systemic metabolic resilience NAD+ is one of the most clinically studied compounds in longevity and performance medicine, with a strong and growing body of research supporting its role in healthy ageing, energy, and recovery.
What is NAD+ 500mg Pen?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It is not a peptide. It is a small molecule made of two nucleotides joined through their phosphate groups, one containing nicotinamide and the other adenine.
NAD+ carries electrons in the reactions that turn food into cellular energy, mainly in the mitochondria. It is also used by enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs, which are involved in DNA repair and cell signalling. Studies suggest NAD+ levels in some tissues fall with age, which is why it is of interest in ageing research.
Also known as: Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, NAD, Oxidised NAD
What the research covers
NAD+ has been studied extensively in cell and animal models of ageing and metabolism. Much of the human research has used oral precursors such as nicotinamide riboside (NR) and nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) rather than NAD+ itself. Small human trials show these precursors can raise blood NAD+ levels and are generally well tolerated. Evidence that this translates into clinical benefit is still limited and mixed. Research on injected or nasal NAD+ in humans is more limited, and published data are mostly small studies and reviews. Early research suggests further well-designed trials are needed. NAD+ is not approved by the US FDA as a medicine for ageing or longevity.

Frequently asked questions
Is NAD+ a peptide?
No. NAD+ is a coenzyme, a small molecule built from two nucleotides. It is listed alongside our peptides because it is prescribed and supplied in the same way.
What does the research on NAD+ show?
NAD+ has been studied widely in cells and animals. Human studies have mostly used oral precursors such as NR and NMN, which can raise blood NAD+ levels. Evidence for clinical benefit in people is still limited.
Which format should I choose?
We supply NAD+ as a pen, cartridge, vial or nasal spray. Your GP will discuss which format suits you during your consultation. Your dose is set by our licensed GP following a consultation, and printed on your pharmacy label.
Are there side effects?
Side effects can occur. Your GP will review your health, medication and, where relevant, blood results before prescribing, and you should report anything unexpected.
